How a house in bankruptcy hurt my credit if I went to a tax auction?
FEB'09 discharged in bankruptcy. Bank said that were not now going to auction. They want to do a short sale, who have spent 4 hours from where my house is flooded June.06, so badly that we are completely emptied and the siding of the house. We bought in June'05. 80/20 has A Mortgage on it. I told The Mortgage bank 80% from August '06 to take home. Husband lost his job in May'06. We havent lived in the house since on 06 June there is no money to fix and repair flood damage. They can go after us at home? Is it bad for our credit?
